Just like from a fairy-tale, Sutivan is a quiet and picturesque little town situated on the island of Brač. The historic centre of Sutivan is a valuable monumental entity, protected as cultural monument. There is a 'cat in the bell' - a stone sculpture of a cat overlooking the harbour and the promenade from the bell tower. Sutivan has spectacular pebbled beaches stretching west, and a gentle outback covered with a multitude of walking and cycling paths. It is a bike-friendly place with three impressive cycling paths that are a sheer pleasure to ride.
