Primošten – one of the most beautiful summer destinations along the Adriatic coastline. Located between Šibenik and Trogir, it is a true tourist heaven that will leave you breathless at first sight. What used to be an island is now a picturesque peninsula with crowded stone houses, narrow streets that lead to the church of St. George, full of small souvenir shops and quaint restaurants that will make you take a break upon returning from the beautiful Primošten beaches and swimming in crystal clear water. You can also find charming places where you can enjoy the best of delicacies and the finest of wines of the Mediterranean cuisine. World famous ‘Babić’, kept in the famous Primošten vineyards, is one such wine. It grows ‘from the rock’ and is a testimony of the hard life of Primošten villagers. This year, Primošten is introducing yet another tourist attraction. As a symbol of gratitude, a giant statue of Our Lady of Loreto will be put up on Gaj hill overlooking Primošten, together with a Viewpoint of Our Lady from which a spectacular view of the Primošten bay can be enjoyed.
